I’m Annie Jonas. My passion is to transform lives through education.

Experiential education and student-centered learning have been at the heart of my practice for the last 25 years and have given me the experiences, insights, and knowledge to inspire and support educators, schools, and even non-profits so that they may have the greatest impact upon their learners.

Traditional transmission-style teaching and learning is both outdated and ineffective in preparing students for the challenges they will face as adults. Schools, organizations and communities are waking to the reality that many learners have been simply left out, with uneven access to quality education and opportunity. Educational leaders are searching for the right tools and effective strategies for innovation in a world that is in flux.

Intentionally designed, research-based experiential education—like the learning programs I have developed, used, and studied throughout my career--responds to these disruptive influences, actively addresses issues of equity and offers students the knowledge they need in ways that engage the mind and inspire dreams.

At Annie Jonas and Associates, we help educators, schools, and non-profit organizations to design and sustain innovative and engaging educational programs and curricula. We also provide the strategic institutional support, thoughtful professional development, and rigorous program evaluation essential to successfully implementing change.
